Its not goodbye, its until next time [Thursday September 1st, 2005 at 1:10pm] [ mood | calm ] For the last couple of weeks I have been pushing the dreaded thoughts of my friends leaving for college out of my head. None of them are really going that far except ms. Angel :( so I really didnt think too much about it. Yes I cant call and say lets go play pool in 10 minutes, but I can pop down every weekend to the boston area (where most kids shall reside) and hang out if I really feel the need. Yesterday was UNTIL NEXT TIME with Lauren. Poor Jelena cried, but I think saying UNTIL NEXT TIME to Shereen will be really hard for me and I'll cry. Best friends since pretty much the age of 5 and letting go is going to be a tough one. It was sad to see Lauren go too :( I signed up for school today and I am taking psychology and intermediate algebra. My math book is $120 and Im really not that pumped about that becuz I dont even want to take math in the first place, let alone pay a million dollars for a book. In anycase I was unaware you had to pay for your classes that day so I scurried around cashing $450 worth of savings bonds and draining my savings account to pay. I get there and she asks if I want to do a payment plan. I could have payed $400 that day and the next payment was in like October. Thank you lady on the phone who left out the part that you didnt have to pay ALLLLLLLLLL of it today. But I just paid it off since I did all that to get the money and I just got it over with so I wouldnt have to worry about it. I know better for next semester! And it was a grand total of $1,241.00 for two classes. But in celebration of my new education I bought 2 outfits for $50. Not bad eh? Also Jenay, Jelena, and I went uber shopping and went to the Olive Garden for lunch. Our server had a mustache. I real live one. It was a she. cocktail hour
